Getting There
We can’t wait to welcome you to Parga! Below is some helpful information on how to get to this beautiful part of Greece. Parga is located on the Ionian Sea in the region of Epirus and is accessible via a number of airports, with a combination of either a private transfer or a rental car to reach the resort.
By Air
The most convenient airports for Parga include:
- Athens (ATH) – the largest international gateway, approximately 3.5-4 hours by car. There are flights direct from Boston (and other major airports) to Athens. We will be arranging for a transport for those arriving from Athens on June 26 to the Parga Beach Resort. There is a direct flight on Delta from Boston to Athens on June 25 that departs at 3:30 p.m. ET and arrives on June 26 at 7:35 a.m. Greece time.
- Preveza (PVK) – approximately 45 minutes by car and the closest small airport. Flights come in on EasyJet, Ryan Air, and other regional airlines from London, Athens, and some other major European cities. This is the easiest option for those who want to connect through London and are not planning to visit other parts of Greece on this trip. There are flights from London to Preveza airport on EasyJet (departs at 7 a.m. GMT and arrives at 12:20 p.m. Greece time) and British Airways (departs at 1:35 p.m. GMT and arrives at 7:05 p.m. Greece time) on June 26. There is also a return flight from Preveza to London on EasyJet (departing 12 p.m. Greece time) and RyanAir (departing at 12:30 p.m.) on July 1.
- Ioannina (IOA) – approximately 1 hour by car. Flights come in from Athens and some European cities in the summer.
- Corfu (CFU) – a popular international option, connecting to the mainland town of Igoumenitsa by ferry. International flights from several European cities and London. Flying into Corfu would make sense if you plan to visit that island as part of this trip. Otherwise, you need to take a ferry boat to the mainland (1.5 hours) and a car from Igoumenitsa’s port to Parga (about 45 minutes).
Private Transfer or Rental Car
We will provide transport from Athens to the Parga Beach Resort on June 26 for those who arrive that day or those who are in Athens in advance. We can also arrange for transport back to Athens on July 1.
You can also ask Anna Skevi (a.skevi@masthotels.gr) to help arrange a separate car transfer from Athens or elsewhere.
Rental cars are also available at the major airports. A car is also a wonderful option for those who would like to explore more of Epirus or Greece during their stay. Greece has modern, major highways that connect Athens to Epirus (and Parga) as well as other parts of mainland Greece, so driving is relatively straightforward for those of you who would enjoy the scenery and would like more freedom to explore. We would encourage you to rent a car if you plan to spend time exploring other parts of Epirus or Greece on this trip.
By Ferry
For guests connecting through Corfu, you can travel by ferry to the mainland at Igoumenitsa and continue by car to Parga.
For those connecting into Corfu, you could also tack on time to explore the island, which has a rich history and is a wonderful add-on destination.

Travel Tips
Summer is high season, so we recommend booking flights and transfers early. Our planner and the resort can assist with transfer arrangements as the celebration approaches.
